If you're planning on visiting Lewisville UMC for the first time and have children, we hope this page of frequently asked questions (and answers) will give you an idea of what you can expect when you arrive. If you have questions that are not here, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How do I check in my child at Lewisville Kids?
If you are visiting Lewisville UMC for the first time, stop by one of the welcome desks in the children's area. There's a volunteer or staff person who will assist you in checking in your child to an appropriate class, and directing you to that classroom.
Do I need to check my child out after the service?
Upon drop off, please communicate to the adult classroom leader when you plan to take your child with you at the end of the session.
Will my child be safe?
We thank you for trusting us to care for your children. We value safety of all in our care. Our safe sanctuaries policy and guidelines ensure their protection and safety. All Lewisville Kids volunteers and staff have been trained in our Safe Sanctuaries Policies and Procedures, and have completed a background check.
The mission of Lewisville Kids is to partner with parents as they
lead their children on their Christian faith journey; to equip volunteers to shepherd children, and to encourage children to grow as a disciple of Christ by teaching them Biblical truths and practices of the Christian faith in meaning ways.
